OUR STORY
At FITaccess, we are a team of passionate entrepreneurs set to help IHRSA achieve its goal of 100 million health club members by 2010 (2010 has another meaning for us too - our town of Vancouver/Whistler is hosting the 2010 Winter Olympic games!) Our team consists of a fresh blend of fitness experts, experienced management and amazing software developers. Supportive partnerships with our health club customers both large and small help us design the features and value the industry needs to achieve great member retention and attentive and motivated staff.

Our story dates back to 1998 when we first started reviewing the psychology of exercise adherence, habit formation and living well. In the beginning, we simply observed. Observed the problems that people had getting motivated and sticking with a program. Observed the problems that existed with member attrition and staff motivation. Observed the needs that management had to make better decisions. And observed the competition. We asked a lot of questions, challenged a lot of conventions and used this knowledge to develop what would become our dynamic web-based communication and rewards management system CONNECT™. CONNECT is the culmination of years of first hand experience and feedback from many fitness facilities across several countries including the United States, Canada, Sweden and parts of Asia.
